Gallery Hire Guidelines
Window Space:
+Up to 2.2 m width x 2m length
$500 per week.
Window Space + Gallery Space:
+Up to 2.2 m width x 7.2 m length
+Up to 20 square meters
$1000 per week
Please note: Approximately 25% of the total gallery space is reserved for the Gallery’s permanent artists and is excluded from the available space for hire calculations.
Cost of hire includes:

Use of lights, plinths, shelving, flexible hanging options.

Exhibition decal, promotional material and online catalogue

Curatorial assistance and advice if required

24 hr visibility
Booking:
Bookings to be confirmed with a 25% non-refundable deposit, prior to the exhibition date and upon execution of the Gallery Hire Agreement. The payment is to be made by direct debit. Bank details are in the Gallery Agreement.
Insurance:
Windowsmiths Gallery has public liability insurance for the premise but does not take responsibility for any damage or theft of the exhibitor’s property. We advise the exhibitor to be covered by their own insurance.
Openings:
The Exhibitor is welcome and encouraged to organise an opening event at their preferred time. The Exhibitor is responsible for providing drinks, while food will be provided by the Gallery. The Exhibitor is also responsible for cleaning up after the event.
Gallery Opening Hours:
The exhibitor is encouraged to be on site as often as possible. Gallery minding hours are encouraged but entirely optional.
Please note that the Gallery Opening Hours are:
Wednesday to Friday 11am - 7pm
Saturday / Sunday 12 - 4pm.
These hours are flexible and can be altered.
Sale of Artworks:
Windowsmiths Gallery will take 35% commission during the time of the Exhibition.
