Margarita Sampson
Margarita Sampson works predominantly in soft sculpture & contemporary jewellery. Her work is strongly influenced by her Norfolk Island background, referencing natural forms, patterns & textures, in particular underwater lifeforms.

Penny Sasso
Penny Sasso’s preferred medium is impasto (palette knife) and resin art in larger sizes (1 sqm and above). She finds that working with these mediums on a larger scale gives her the opportunity to express texture, colour and movement. Although her work starts with a “vision”, the nature of the resin in its liquid form will inevitably “move” over a period of 24 hours leaving a whole new image and as such the finished piece needs to express this movement. Whilst working on a piece she finds herself creating and re-creating the initial vision to work in harmony with the liquidity of the resin. Likewise, to a degree, with impasto – she can create so much depth and movement with the use of palette knives and other tools. The result is always pleasing as it is so free-form and original. You will never find another piece like it. Not even close, and that is the beauty of these fabulous mediums. Everyone who views her art will see a different image. She finds it fascinating how the human brain works and tries to interpret and analyse what it sees.
